Jul 19, 2007 /  Prof-UIS 2.80 Released!

We are pleased to announce the release of Prof-UIS 2.80. The new version introduces support for Visual Studio 9.0 and a lot of features and improvements primarily requested by our customers, including custom icon and text alignment for regular and toolbar buttons, multiline text in toolbar buttons and more. Jun 26, 2007 /  Elegant Ribbon 2.0 Released!

We are pleased to announce the release of Elegant Ribbon 2.0. The new version introduces a number of important features, which make Elegant Ribbon fully compliant with the 2007 Microsoft Office System User Interface Design Guidelines. The new features include the Ribbon Application Menu, large buttons and button-based controls in pop-up menus, Minimize the Ribbon feature, support for two vertically distributed controls in a ribbon group and more.

We renewed the Ribbon UI sample with new tab pages and controls, so the Elegant Ribbon now looks and feels like the Ribbon in Microsoft Word 2007. We also added a new sample, Data Binding, which illustrates how to use complex data binding with Elegant Ribbon controls on the form.

May 25, 2007 /  Elegant Ribbon 1.2 Released!

We are happy to announce the release of Elegant Ribbon 1.2. The new version introduces three major features: Quick Access Toolbar, KeyTips and the ability to use even more controls both on the ribbon and on the form. All the implemented features are fully compliant with the 2007 Microsoft Office System User Interface Design Guidelines.

We also added a new sample Elegant Controls, which demonstrates the features of context-sensitive controls on the form. You can read the full list of changes in the Version History section.

We are pleased to announce the new major release of Prof-UIS for MFC developers. Version 2.70 introduces a lot of new features, improvements and bug fixes and also includes the features and samples added in the minor releases 2.61 - 2.64. The documentation is updated. We are happy to announce the release of Elegant Ribbon 1.1. The new version introduces a number of common controls: a combo box, an up-down control, panel, horizontal and vertical scroll bars, and a label. The combo box, up-down control, and text box are context-sensitive, which means they can be used both in the ribbon and on a form. The beta includes cascading pop-up menus, support for keyboard navigation, new controls and more. You are welcome to try it out and use it for free during beta testing. Any feedback, bug report or suggestion will be much appreciated.

Nov 29, 2006 /  Prof-UIS 2.62 Released!

We are proud to announce the release of Prof-UIS 2.62. The most important feature of the new version is that Prof-UIS is now fully compatible with Windows Vista's Desktop Windows Manager (DWM). That means you can be sure that your Prof-UIS-based application can be seamlessly run and is fully supported on any OS from Windows 9x/NT to Vista.

The other new features include support for the Right-To-Left (RTL) layout in the ribbon control, a windowless slider/scroll bar cell, support for the Close button in every tab in tab controls like in Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 2.0 and much more.
