Apr 26, 2017 /  Prof-UIS 3.4.0.0
Announcing the Release of Prof-UIS MFC Library Version 3.4.0.0!

There are a number of improvements in Version 3.4.0.0. The first being Visual Studio 2017 compatibility. The few minor compatibility items have been fixed. The compile of all of the libraries configurations only showed on very insignificant warning.

The ProfMFC Library version 3.4.0.0 features Virtual Grids. The Virtual Grid allow quick access to a virtual unlimited number of cells. In the 32 bit compile mode this is up to 2 Million plus Cells and in the 64 bit mode has no practical limit to the number of cells.

Version 3.4.0.0 also provides high definition scaling up to 4K. This allows the Library to be compatible with the newer high definition screens that are coming on to the market.

All of the errors that have been reported, and there were just a few, have been dealt with.

You can download this version now from our Downloads Page http://www.prof-uis.com/download/mfc.aspx.

May 24, 2016 /  Prof-UIS 3.3.0.0
Announcing the Release of Prof-UIS MFC Library Version 3.3.0.0!

Version 3.3.0.0 has been released. This version contains further updates to the scaling algorithms.

In release 3.3.0.0 of the ProfUIS MFC Library the menus, toolbars, tabs, groups, captions, fonts ... and so on are automatically adjusted (scaled) to the current DPI resolution (up to 200 percent). Plus it contains a function to allow user’s code to automatically scale resources. This is particularly important in Ribbon applications. All of the Sample files have been updated to scale up to 200 percent.

The library facilities and changes and how to use them are contained in our Tech Bulletin 3.3.0.0.
The Tech Bulletin is available at http://prof-uis.com/newsletters/important_changes_100-200dpi.html.

The Samples contain Dialog, SDI, and MDI Ribbon implementations. There are 50 Group Panels in the Samples.

Now is the time to add DPI Aware Scaling and Ribbons to your product. If you need help with this let us know.

We are working on the Ribbons and realized that we would like additional resources. So we added Ribbon Group Panels and Dialog Boxes to our resource categories.
