There is an assert in CExtCheckListWnd::PreSubclassWindow() in ExtCheckListWnd.cpp
After that the list in the dialog box is empty.
There is also the bug in the sample pageNavigator.

Would you help us reproduce this bug in the PageNavigator sample? We need the exact sequence of actions that leads to the problem.

use PageNavigation sample in the full pachage installation. Compile in Win32 MBCS Debug the libs and the sample.
select the item Navigation Pane Option in the bottom menu.
After assert the dialog box appears empty.
