Hello,

I just got a new computer and installed Windows XP Professional and added SP2.
I then tried to install ProfUIS (a couple of different versions) and get the following error message after the wizard appears to get past the end and perform a some sort of registration:

The wizard was interrupted before Professional User Interface Suite 2.30 could be completely installed.

The system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time, run the installation again.
Click Finish to exit the wizard.

Any help is appreciated,
David

Well, I rebooted and it worked. I must have installed something that needed a reboot after sp2. I also found that a cygwin file /bin/link was conflicting with Visual C++ .NET 2003’s link and I had to rename it.
Thanks,
David

Dear David,

Nobody has yet reported problems with installing Prof-UIS on Windows XP SP2. At the first glance we may assume that there is some problem with your system, for example you have not enough rights to modify the registry. So, please check if you log in at the system administrator level.

To not make you wait until we figure out what causes this problem, we can offer you two options:
