Do you have any examples showing how to insert such a button into a toolbar? When clicked, the button should pop up a little list of sub-options. I’m sure you have an example somewhere but I just can’t find it!

Never mind, realized you need to have a handler for the button itself, even if it is empty.

Do I just handle the pop up menu as a regular menu? Can I just go to ClassWizard and add the appropriate handlers from the menu items and it will be fine?
Do I need a handler for the button itself on the toolbar?

You can handle/update menu commands exactly in the same way as menu bar’s menus or context menus. The handler for a toolbar button is needed just to make it enabled.
