The CExtButton class is a component that is based on a HWND window handle. The CExtGridCell class is a non-window component. So, it is not possible to insert windows into grid cells. But we can send you a sample application that demonstrates how to code a grid cell which looks and acts exactly like the push button.

We have just sent the sample in question to the address you specified. The sample project includes the source code for the CMyStartStopCell . This class implements a grid cell that acts like a button.
