I’m just learning about the EB-3 visa, so I’m hoping for your help, friends. I’ve read about the different stages of this visa and I don’t quite understand what adjustment of status is and how it works. Can anyone here explain it to me?

I haven’t gotten to that stage yet, but I can help you with that. AOS is only done if you are in the United States, otherwise you need to do consular processing. As for the concept itself, it’s simple. Adjustment of Status is the process of changing non-immigrant status to immigrant status.
