Hello,
I searched both your forums for "CAnimateCtrl" but found only one article and that describes only non default functionality. What about the standard .avi file support in regular dialogs (like original Windows Copy dialog displaying the well known animation)? My concern is that if you do not have your own version of this class - is it possible to skin this class somehow so it supports your new visual themes (like CExtPaintManagerOffice2007_R1 and the others)? Since my .avi contains a transaprent color it has to be somehow themed to the background color of the dialog (based on actual theme) like your other controls.

Unfortunately there is no easy way to make the CAnimateCtrl background consistent with themes in Prof-UIS. We can only add this feature to our to-do list.
