When I try to build my application using ProfUIS254sud.lib causing linker error 2001 with uafxcwd.lib

We did not come across such linking errors when compiling our sample applications with all the supported VC++ versions. We can only guess that there may be something wrong with your project, e.g. some incorrect settings.
