please send some detailed description regarding how to create an tree and how to map the events , here iam also supposed to do interchange two items based upon drag n drop .

It is not clear which tree you mean. There is the standard tree control which is described in MSDN. If you mean the CExtTreeGridWnd class available in Prof-UIS, you can download a simple project from our web site. This app shows how to build up and manage a tree. CExtTreeGridWnd provides much more features by combining a tree and a grid. The updated documentation on new classes including the tree grid will be available in a few days.
