Hey everyone, I’m hoping I’m not the only one going through this right now. For the last few weeks, I’ve been getting nonstop calls from a collection agency. They’ve been calling multiple times a day, even early in the morning and late at night. They’re super aggressive and sometimes even rude. A couple of times they’ve called my work and it’s honestly getting embarrassing.

I get that I owe money but the way they’re going about it just feels wrong. I’ve read a little bit about what collection agencies can and can’t legally do, and I’m starting to wonder if this might actually be considered harassment. Has anyone else dealt with something like this? What did you do to make it stop?

I found this site: https://protectionforconsumers.com/fight-collection-agency-harassment/ that talks about what your rights are when it comes to debt collectors, and it was helpful but I’d still like to hear from real people. If anyone has stories, tips, or even just wants to vent, please jump in. I’m all ears.
