Prof-UIS 2.53 Released!
Today we are proud to announce the release of Prof-UIS 2.53. The new version introduces greatly improved image/icon support (Vista/XP icon quality on any Windows OS starting from Windows 95/NT4 and enhanced support for hovered, pressed and disabled images), a new set of cell classes for the data and property grid controls (progress bar, slider, picture, numeric, currency, exponential, fraction, and percentage), an updated combo box with a multicolumn pop-up list box and autofilter support, and much more.
The Prof-UIS Integration Wizard is now completely renewed and based on new Prof-UIS skinning capabilities.
Prof-UIS 2.53 also introduces the first alpha version of the report grid control.
Prof-UIS, Prof-UIS Trial, and Prof-UIS Freeware are available for immediate download from our website.

Elegant Grid Beta for .NET Released!
We are pleased to introduce the first beta release of Elegant Grid, our new product for Windows Forms developers. Its API and form designer tools are specially designed to follow the standard approaches used in Windows Forms, which allows you to easily start with the Elegant Grid. The grid architecture is also developed with specific focus on extensibility issues. We hope that along with an extensive list of features the Elegant Grid will become a powerful tool for Windows Forms .NET applications.
We invite you to become a beta tester. To become a tester, simply download and test the beta. Please report all problems you experienced with the product by e-mail, in this forum, or with our feedback form. We are also interested in any suggestions you have to improve the Elegant Grid. The most active testers will get the next major version absolutely for free!

Prof-UIS 2.52 Released!
We are happy to announce the release of Prof-UIS 2.52, which is available for immediate download. The evaluation version is available on your request.
The major new features include support for the Windows 64-bit platform, Aqua skin, and availability of all the resource-dependent features in static library builds. The latter allows you to hide Prof-UIS inside your distributable EXE and DLL files.
Following requests from our customers, we added new samples SimpleScripting and Pluggable, that demonstrate some possible ways of customizing the user interface programmatically. The updated Skinnable sample shows the new Aqua skin in addition to Black Diamond introduced in Prof-UIS 2.51.

Prof-UIS 2.51 Released!
We are pleased to announce the release of Prof-UIS 2.51, an intermediate version available for immediate download for registered users. The evaluation version is available on your request.
The major new feature is the skinning support, which is based on an XML file that describes the hierarchy of GUI elements and how they are painted in the application. The PNG (Portable Network Graphics) format used for all images makes it possible to support alpha blending for all Windows OSes starting from Windows 95 / NT 4.0. The skinning module also supports custom window borders and captions. The current version features the Black Diamond skin with other skins coming soon. You can download and play with a new MDI application (the Skinable sample), which demonstrates a slick, Longhorn/Vista-like interface implemented with skins.

Besides of Microsoft HTML Help 1 (chm and chi files), the technical documentation now supports Microsoft HTML Help 2 format (HxS and HxI files) and can be integrated with the Combined Help Collection for Visual Studio 2002/2003/2005. All the new classes are fully documented.
We would also like to draw your attention to that we added the Prof-UIS Application Wizard for Visual Studio 2005 and that the Integration Wizard is capable of compiling any library configuration available in Prof-UIS and the ProfAuto library that provides a fully scriptable COM-compliant interface.

Updated look and feel of the site. Prof-UIS 2.43 released!
We are happy to introduce a new look and feel of our website and announce the release of Prof-UIS 2.43.
The site has been updated and we hope you like it. It is now best viewed at at least 1024x768.

We added many new features and components including compound properties for the property grid, tabbed toolbars,

We are happy to announce the release of Prof-UIS 2.42, which is available for immediate download for registered users. The new features, improvements and bug fixes are mainly made based on requests from our customers. The new features include the tear-off menu, palette menu, new grid cell classes, and much more. Prof-UIS 2.40 Released!
Today we are proud to announce the release of Prof-UIS 2.40, which includes many new features and enhancements since the previous major release of 2.30. The most important features include the property grid control, dynamic resizable control bars, RTL support, date and time picker control, time duration control, and VS 2005 Beta 2 GUI theme support. Prof-UIS is now compatible with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2.
To demonstrate how to use new features, we added new samples (SDI_DynamicBars, MDI_DynamicBars, and Property Grid) and updated old ones (LanguageSwitcher and Prof-UIS Controls).
New classes are now fully documented. The updated help also includes a new class hierarchy chart that features pan and zoom, class description, and simple and advanced search. The FAQ section is now categorized.
Dynamic Control Bars for MDI and SDI Applications with Tabbed Interface is a new article that explains what dynamic control bars are and how they can be used.

Prof-UIS 2.33 Released!
We are happy to announce the release of Prof-UIS 2.33, which is available for immediate download for registered users. The main new features include the property grid control, time duration control, date and time picker control, and compatibility with Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2. There are also many other new features, improvements and bug fixes, which you can read about in the Version History section.
We also would like to draw your attention to a completely new sample Property Grid and an updated version of the Prof-UIS Controls application, which demonstrate the new features.
Prof-UIS 2.33 is the last intermediate release before Prof-UIS 2.40 that will be the next major release.

Prof-UIS 2.32 Released!
We have just released Prof-UIS 2.32, a new intermediate version which is available for immediate download for registered users. Among the new features are RTL support, improvements in dynamic control bars introduced in Prof-UIS 2.31, and cell type classes. The latter classes can be useful if your application uses the Prof-UIS grid and besides they provides a base for the property grid that will be introduced soon.
The new version also includes a number of improvements and bug fixes you can learn about on the Version History page.
