This can be easily done with the Prof-UIS Automation Pack (ProfAuto), which provides a set of automation object wrappers for Prof-UIS components. If you remove a command from the ExtAutoCommandsCollection object, all the corresponding items (toolbar buttons, menu items, accelerators and command category entries in the customize dialogs) will be also removed. It’s a ready-to-use solution for customizable applications. You can use ProfAuto even without registering any COM server.
Prof-UIS comes with an ActiveScripts sample that demonstrates how ProfAuto can be used in an SDI application.
If you encounter any difficulties with this issue, please contact us again. PS If your application is not customizable, then you have to remove menu items, toolbar buttons, accelerators, and command manager items manually.
