I am using CExtReportGridWnd and want to add a new item and for it to appear on the current display in the correct place with any expanded tree items remaining expanded.
I have the report sorted by one field, so that there is a tree view.
After I add a new item, I call ReportSortOrderUpdate().
If I have an item selected within an expanded tree, that tree remains expanded. But any tree items that do not have a currently selected item collapse.
How can I stop this from happening?

Unfortunately this feature is not supported in the report grid. We can add this task to our to-do list.
