Has anyone tried both Prof-UIS and Visual Studio 2008 ribbon bars?  Or is anyone aware of a website that compares the two?  I’m interested in any differences in functionality and efficientcy.

In particular, are the following possible with Prof-UIS?

- Populate a ribbon bar group from an existing toolbar? While it may not make the most of a ribbon bar’s formatting capabilities, it’s a great way to start when converting an existing project that uses toolbars.

- Colour indicators under button icons?

Examples of these in VS2008 can be seen here: blogs.msdn.com/vcblog/archive/2007/11/09/quick-tour-of-new-mfc-functionality.aspx

Thanks,

Rob.
