1) A contextual group button (when selected) must be wide enough to hold all the tabs that belong to the group. You cannot change this behavior.
2) The next version of Elegant Ribbon will provide the way to customize the Quick Access Toolbar menu.
3) The additional space at the bottom is quite strange. Could you send us a sample project that demonstrates this wrong behavior?
