Dear ProfUIS-Team,

what would be the best way to check the integrity of all cmd key tips (i.e. text of CExtCustomizeCmdKeyTip) within a ribbonbar? Integrity means that within an active "key tip scope" all key tip character chains should be unique in terms of member function CompareWidthChain(), i.e. every node should be reachable by its key tip and mustn’t be masked by another. Otherwise, nodes lying within a different "key tip scope" do not necessarily have to be unique with respect to the current node target.

Kind regards,

Martin

The number of key tips visible on the screen is typically 10 or 20. We always checked whether they are unique only by their visual look. It was never difficult.
