Hi,

Has anyone tried to build binaries for VS2008 using Prof-uis 2.54?

I tried to convert ProfUISDLL_800.vcproj to VS2008 using VS conversion wizard and compile. It gives me a many errors related to AfxImpl.h.

c:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC\atlmfc\include\../src/mfc/AfxImpl.h(625) : error C2059: syntax error : ’<L_TYPE_raw>’

c:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC\atlmfc\include\../src/mfc/AfxImpl.h(625) : error C2238: unexpected token(s) preceding ’;’

c:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC\atlmfc\include\../src/mfc/AfxImpl.h(629) : error C2059: syntax error : ’<L_TYPE_raw>’

c:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC\atlmfc\include\../src/mfc/AfxImpl.h(629) : error C2238: unexpected token(s) preceding ’;’

Thanks,

If you are using a freeware version, then you can simply download it from this page:

http://www.prof-uis.com/download/mfc.aspx

The direct download link is:

http://www.prof-uis.com/download/profuis284_freeware.zip

If you are using a full version, then you can renew your subscription with a discount. Contact information is here:

http://www.prof-uis.com/company/contact-us.aspx

In any case, you have a strong reason to switch to the latest Prof-UIS version: Vista compatibility, 64 bit platform support, new Visual Studio support and, of course, all the fixes and new features.

Support for Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0was introduced in v.2.80. Unfortunately we can only suggest you manually try to fix such compile problems. We used v.2.70 when providing support for 9.0 so we even cannot guess what problems may occur with 2.54.
