During installation I get the choice to install/build different libraries. Do I need de Prof-auto ? What does it contain? There is no mentioning of it anywhere (nor on your site).

ProfAuto is part of the Prof-UIS library and designed for creating script/automation based plug-in modules for your application and it is a bridge between configurable toolbars and menus in your application and managed .NET code if you are going to create mixed native/managed application(s). ProfAuto provides a set of COM wrapper objects and allows you to programmatically customize the GUI using any of COM compliant languages.
You can read about using ProfAuto in this article:
Scripting Support in Prof-UIS Applications
So if you do not use ProfAuto in your app, you do not need to distribute this library with the installer.
