To split a large PST (Personal Storage Table) file into smaller parts, you can use the "Import and Export" feature available in Microsoft Outlook. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to split PST files:

Note: Before proceeding, it’s recommended to create a backup of your original PST file to avoid any accidental data loss.

Step 1: Open Microsoft Outlook

Step 2: Go to the "File" menu at the top left corner.

Step 3: Select "Open & Export" and then choose "Import/Export."

Step 4: In the Import and Export Wizard, choose "Export to a file" and click "Next."

Step 5: Select "Outlook Data File (.pst)" and click "Next."

Step 6: Choose the folder you want to export. If you want to split the entire PST file, select the top-level mailbox.

Step 7: Click on the "Browse" button to choose the location where you want to save the new PST file(s).

Step 8: Under "Options," choose "Do not export duplicate items," and then click "Next."

Step 9: You can set a password for the new PST file(s) if you want. This step is optional.

Step 10: Click "Finish" to start the export process.

Greetings,
Peter
