I have tried to use silktest against the Prof-UI grid control but it does not recognize the grid as a table object.
Actually it does not recognize anything. It sees it has a custom control.

All the known automated test tools can work only with standard and common controls. But many of the Prof-UIS controls are custom controls written from scratch and testing tools will not recognize them. Prof-UIS grid is one of the custom controls based on pure CWnd object. It is not surprising that silktest doesn’t recognize it. So there are no universal solutions to make the Prof-UIS controls accessible from the automated test tools. You can only emulate the mouse moving, clicking and keys pressing.
