I have been searching your forums for a way to disconnect a toolbar button from the command manager.

I have a dropdown button that’s added at run time.  Since there’s no action associated with this button, I really don’t need a handler for it except to make it enabled.  Is there a way to disconnect it from the command manager and manually enable the button?

The toolbar buttons with icons cannot be disconnected from the command manager because the command manager contains icon object.
