Hi all!
How do I use the Prof-UIS help? I have seen lot of files in the ...\FOSS Software Inc\Prof-UIS\Help, but right now I use it just going manually in the folder and clicking on the ProfUIS250.chm. Is there any sophisticated way of using help for the Prof-UIS?
Thanks!
With best regards,
Nedim.

It is not clear completely which Prof-UIS you mean (the full version or freeware) but in any case, if you have Visual Studio 2003/2005 installed, you can register Prof-UIS.HxS in your Visual Studio .NET Combined Help Collection by running register.bat. This will allow you to use Prof-UIS Help dynamically when you are working in Visual Studio.

You will see the results when you start MSDN or use it from Visual Studio.

Thanks !
I have expected to find it in MSDN "Contents" tab, but it is not there. I have tried to search for example CExtControlBar in the help, but I don’t get anything. Would you please be so kind to explain me how do I use the Prof-UIS help ?
Thanks!
With best regards,
Nedim.

Microsoft Help 2 is quite flexible system and as far as we know you may have the Visual Studio Combined Help Collection and MSDN (e.g. MSDN Library for Visual Studio .NET 2003). The later is registered in the Combined Collection namespace. This allows you to use MSDN from Visual Studio. The register.bat script registers Prof-UIS Help in the Combined Collection as well.

Please note that we are talking about Visual Studio 2003/2005. So, open the Visual Studio and make the Contents dockable window visible. You should see Prof-UIS there. If not, let us know more details about the environment you are using. We would also like to ask you to post your messages to the Tech Support forum if you have a valid tech support subscription.
