We are planning to use Professional UIs for one of our test equipment GUI design. Our requirement is that this package must be available atleast for next 5 years and support must be there throughout. Can any of you please tell me how easy it is to use professional UIs, amount of bugs and it is going to be exisiting and supported for a long time? Are there any long time users?

Thanks for the feedback. Do you have any rep in India?. We didnaˆ™t find any. Sometimes we feel it is better to have a local rep so that we can explain/demonstrate our requirements/problem and you will be in a better position to support.

Also the software we are planning to develop using professional -UIS has to undergo a certification process wherein it will be audited and verified by independent verification agencies. They ask for lot of documentation if it is a bought out item. It is possible for you provide us some of the documents (design manual, test manual)(in addition to user manual)?

Otherwise, has your software gone through any certification by independent verification agencies? If so, documents are not required, we may require the certificate issued by them. Will be able to provide?

Please let me know your view upon this and suggestions

We are sorry for the delay with this reply. At present we do not have any representative in India. Unfortunately we cannot provide you with ready-to-use documents you are requesting (design manual, test manual). Would you tell us which independent verification agencies you mean?

Please note that Prof-UIS comes with the full source code which means you have full control over the library. So we do not see any problems here.

Thank you for your interest in Prof-UIS. Although five years is quite a long time, but we actually hope to continue developing UI tools and solutions for a much longer time and we do not see any potential problems with the market. We do not also plan to change the field of our specialization.
