When moving dialogs with the "Show window contents while dragging" option activated, the movement is not particulary smooth. Is this something we have to live with? Normal dialogs (CDialog) moves smoothly.

We tried to repeat the non-smooth behavior of the dialog using the ProfUIS_Controls sample application. It has a heavy CExtResizableDialog window as the main window and it is also a container for several child CExtResizableDialog windows. The non-smooth movement effect appears only when the Office 2003 or Studio 2005 themes are applied and you place at least a half of the dialog outside the screen and then return the entire dialog into the screen area. This is caused by the compound gradient painting algorithms implemented in the Prof-UIS paint manager components. The entire movements are not slow and we believe the problem is not critical.
