Hello

What is the simplest way to show and change an icon in a dialog at runtime?

Before I used our library I have made it with CStatic and the member function SetIcon. In the dialog I have put in a picture with the typ symbol at the place where I want to show the icon.

Now it makes black pixels where the icon is transparent and where you see normaly the background of the dialog. With CExtLabel the icon doesn’t appear.

I’m using the Prof-UIS 2.25 (fullversion)

Thank

We have already added support for the SS_ICON style to the CExtLabel class. The background for transparent icons is now painted with the dialog color or gradient.

If you are a registered user with a valid subscription, please download the latest source code at the download page (Prof-UIS 2.28). If not, we can send you the updated source code of the CExtLabel class by e-mail on your request (this feature is also available in Prof-UIS Freeware).
