Hi, I want to implement a grid that has initially one row (let’s call it last_row for simplicity). This row is also initially empty. If the user changes any value of any cell on last_row, I want to automatically create a new last_row and then let the user continue editing the previous last_row. I intend to use this grid to display records from a database. With this grid, the user can view, edit, add, and delete any record. Please send me a sample application with this implementation. Thank you in advance.

What you are requesting is partially implemented in the AdoRecorsetView sample application where the grid control is used for browsing a database recordset. You can modify the source code of the data provider component for virtual row caching. In your component, provide the grid window with the number of rows in the data base recordset plus one row at the bottom. Catching the end-of-the edit event in the last row should perform a database insert query.
