I found out that CExtControlBar cathes the VK_RETURN and VK_ESC keys.
My CExtControlBar has a child window -CAxWindow which hosts an ActiveX control.
The control does not receive MW_KEYDOWN for return and esc keys.

Unfortunately your information is not enough to provide you with assistance. We have not experienced any problems with placing ActiveX controls in resizable control bars. Please send us your test project so we can help you.
