Hello,

I am having trouble with my control bar. I have several control bars in my application however one of my control bars I would like to make it NOT dockable. i.e. always floating. How can I have a resizable control bar that can’t be docked?

Thanks
M

The idea about control bars is based on the following basic features:

1) It can be docked with any side of the main frame window

2) It supports the drag-and-drop so you can change its docked position or make floating

A window that is always floating is not really a control bar. It is just the mini frame window. Please take a look at the PageContainer sample. The custom drawn page container is created in a mini frame window that is always floating.
