Hi, I have used 2.50 after purchasing since 2005. However, no more because it can not be working with programming tools in Windows 7. Now, I am thinking of purchasing the latest version of Prof-UIS 2.93. I am just wondering if it has backward compatibility. In the previous version, I have mainly used CExtPropertyXXX control. When I first tried with the trial version, it does not seem to contain the component for free. If anyone knows how to use my previsou version in Windows 7, please let me know. Any other helps will be appreciated much. Thank you in advance. SK Lee

Thank you for your response. I also switched to 2.93. However, I am still struggling to solve several problems where the previous version has some member function, but the new version does not have them any more. One of them is DetachASHICON() function in CExtCmdIcon class. Have you ever used it and do you know which member function can replace it. Thank you very much. SK Lee

Some time ago I was switching from 2.52 to 2.90. Project is large, however I’m not using CExtProperty* much. Making all working took less than one hour.
